NRG Hideaways started with a simple idea: that the best place to rest after a hard day outside is one built by someone who knows the land.

Who We Are

Guides at Heart. Hosts by Choice.

We're Jamie and Sam — we moved to the Blue Ridge a decade ago after one too many "I'm not leaving this view" moments, and we've been building basecamp retreats ever since.

We hike these trails. We paddle these rivers. We know which ridgeline catches the sunrise and which forest road turns to mud after rain. That knowledge goes into every property we run.

Every cabin is one we've personally stocked, slept in, and signed off on ourselves. The rule is simple: if it wouldn't work for our own trip, it doesn't go in the property.
